Sarah Hayley Orrantia

Sarah Hayley Orrantia (born February 21st 1994) is an American performer, actress, and songwriter. She is most well-known for her character on the comedy series of ABC The Goldbergs as Erica Goldberg. She was a member Lakoda Rayne (a country-pop girl group created by Paula Abdul in the first season of The X Factor). In 2015 her first single "Love Sick" was released. Her debut EP, The Way Out (May 2019) was released. Orrantia began singing as an infant and began studying to become an experienced singer when she was 12. Her first song was written at 13. At the age of 15, she recorded her first EP of covers and was writing songs with her songwriter Jamie Houston who at the time was best known for her songs written for three Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia was selected to audition for The X Factor's first season in the summer 2011. Orrantia submitted a YouTube video entry was picked by judges and received four "yeses" votes in the live audition stage. The audition was initially one-woman show but at Hollywood Week, she was joined by three other female singers to form an ensemble. They were eliminated in the fifth week of the live shows.
