Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18, 1967) is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just some of her film roles. Bello was on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998), along with other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) as well as Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Kathy who was a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. [7][8] She majored in political science at Villanova University. Bello studied acting in New York and continued to develop her talents after graduating. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son named Jackson. [18] She has written about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She published a book called Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the Labels We Give to Others (Dey Street Books - April 28, 2015).
